About
Lesley-Ann
In my practice as a psychotherapist, I work from an integrative humanistic perspective. I draw on various therapeutic approaches but always ground my work in a person-centred approach tailored to the suitability of each client. This method ensures that each individual's unique needs and circumstances are respected and addressed, fostering a therapeutic environment of empathy, understanding, and growth.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide cross-section of clients presenting with various issues, including but not limited to grief, relationships, abandonment, depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, abuse, sexuality and gender issues, and challenges faced by individuals impacted by age-related issues. My extensive experience in these areas allows me to offer informed and compassionate support to each client.
I hold a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, in collaboration with PCI College, Dublin.
I am also a member of the IACP (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
